The Oneida County Volunteer Firemen’s Association, Inc. and the Oneida County Fire Chief’s Association represent the 59 active volunteer fire departments in Oneida and Herkimer Counties.

Over the past 15 years of this scholarship we have been able to provide  4  college bound  children who have parents or grandparents that are current or deceased volunteer firefighters or are firefighters  them selves with scholarship money for their first year of a college education. This year, as was done last year, we will be awarding $500 each to two boys and two girls.
